SOUP'er Thursday Raises Money for Second Harvest Food Bank

On Thursday, October 20th, Perceptics employees got their soup on. Everyone gathered in the Hub in the Farragut office to enjoy a wide variety of different soups and chilis to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. The lunch was organized by the Perceptics Foundation, which serves to support employees' charitable acts in their communities.

Perceptics employees contributed $800 to dine on the all-you-can-eat soup buffet. The Foundation supplemented employees' contributions to the tune of $2,400 bringing the total amount donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee to $3,200! And since it was a "Double Your Donation Day", Second Harvest doubled that amount.

Thank you to the employees and their families who donated the soup and other goodies that quickly turned this simple soup luncheon into a true feast. We can't think of a better want to give back to our community than by eating.
