How it Works
Summitt Fusion fuses license plate reads from two or more ALPR engines and compares the results to increase automation rates and produce the highest confidence read. After your existing LPR solution captures an initial license plate read, Summitt LPR or your preferred alternate ALPR solution receives the image and returns a read. Once both reads have been collected, results are sent to the Summitt Fusion software for comparison. Summitt Fusion then determines the most accurate read and returns it to your back-office system in a matter of seconds. Over time, Fusion’s AI engine learns the strengths and weaknesses of each ALPR engine to determine which attributes from each engine to prioritize for the best results.
